Role: Construction manager for the masonry subcontractor

Responsibilities: Set-up of a remote office in California and coordinating the installation of a $3 million stone contract. The project necessitated 45 trips to the Bay Area from Seattle and 7 trips to Southeastern China to confirm the material fabrication and shipment.

Description: This project involved the installation of over 50,000 square feet of stone road paving and the installation of veneer on a stone bridge, veneer on two additional stone bridge abutments, and stone veneer and sills on the main residence and several outbuildings. All of the stone was purchased and fabricated in China to specifications that were shop drawn in Seattle and then imported to California.
